Supported by the Dutch Heart Foundation and in collaboration with the UMCU, we are working on improving the diagnostic possibilities of the Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG).
Thanks to Robert Roudijk, Machteld Boonstra, Peter Loh and the team for establishing that the use of our 3D camera technique and the inverse modeling approach is increasingly capable of tto collect information about the activation performance of our heart with just a 12 lead ECG. Information that has so far been reserved for expensive, riskier invasive (measuring with a catheter inside the heart) techniques. This new publication in Frontiers in Physiology is the next important building block in the scientific foundation of the ECG Excellence solutions for cardiac diagnostics and prognostics.
